Whether it’s the exciting nightlife, the scents and tastes of Chinatown or the museums of Kota (the old city), there’s plenty on offer in this diverse capital and with Javanese, Indian, Chinese and Dutch cultures all calling Jakarta home through the years, the city has become a real melting pot of people.
